LookforChildcare.co.uk is the sister site to www.MothersWhoWork.co.k, the lifestylewebsite for working mums.

Founded by Joycellyn Akuffo, a working mother herself, LookforChildcare.co.uk aims to connect parents with childcare providers, by providing a free platform for parents and childcare providers to post adverts, and for childcare providers and parents to respond to adverts, for free.

For time-poor parents who would prefer to cut this part of their childcare search out completely, we have a bespoke childcare-search service for families looking for childminders, nurseries, kid’s clubs and playgroups.

Words from the founder

Having used (and still use) childcare myself, I know first hand how difficult and stressful it can be for parents to entrust their child into the care of a stranger. Using childcare that has come with sparkling recommendations by trusted family and friends can make this easier - but often these childcare providers are fully booked, or scarse.

However, with the right skills (read our guide, The Working Parent’s Stress-Free Guide to Finding Good Childcare) and using your gut instincts, you can find good childcare to suit you and your family’s needs.
